Accompanies my replicas of Bilbo and Frodo’s Sting and Thorin Oakenshield’s Orcrist as blades found together in a troll hoard in The Hobbit.
The blade is very strong and can withstand a significant amount of swinging before it falls apart (due to its layered plate construction). Inside-out rubber tires form the ‘leather’ grip and hold the tang together.
